Extremely rare and beautiful little lamp designed by Henning Koppel for Georg Jensen of Denmark and retailed via Frederick Lunning of New York City circa mid 1960s. This piece is stamped MADE IN DENMARK and similar examples are documented in several volumes of Furniture Forum Annual. This lamp is very well made comprised of a solid teak wood hand-turned form with original oil finish. The lamp takes one standard size bulb and the shade is a replacement but looks great with the lamp! The condition is very good and the lamp works great! It measures 17" tall, 6" in diameter.
